Our Authenticity Standard

Genuine footwear. Documented sourcing. Confidence in every pair.

At AuthenTic Lebanon, authenticity is the foundation of our business.

We offer genuine branded footwear, sourced exclusively from European countries through commercial suppliers, with original branded packaging and product identification labels.

We believe every customer deserves to understand what they're buying, where it comes from, and how to examine its authenticity.

This guide explains the practical steps you can take to check your sneakers, along with the sourcing standards and business documentation behind our products.

Our approach: Authenticity should be assessed through several factors together—not a single label, code, or visual detail.

01. Where Are Original Sneakers Made?

Different countries. Same brand standards.

Genuine footwear from international brands is manufactured in different countries worldwide.

Depending on the brand, model, and production period, manufacturing locations may include:

  • Vietnam

  • Indonesia

  • China

  • Cambodia

  • India

  • Other countries within the manufacturer's production network

Made in China does not mean counterfeit. Made in Vietnam does not automatically mean authentic.

A country-of-origin label identifies where a product claims to have been manufactured. It does not independently establish authenticity.

International footwear brands may manufacture products in different countries while applying their own production specifications and quality-control requirements.

Important: Our sneakers are sourced from European suppliers, but their countries of manufacture vary according to the brand and model.

02. Verify Your Product Code (SKU) Online

Every model has an identity.

One of the most useful starting points when examining footwear is its product identification code.

Depending on the manufacturer, it may be called an SKU, style code, article number, product code, or manufacturer reference.

Step 1 — Locate the product code

Check the manufacturer's identification label, commonly found inside the shoe, beneath the tongue, along the interior lining, or on the original shoebox.

Its location varies by model.

Step 2 — Search the complete code

Enter the product code into Google or search the manufacturer's official website.

Examples:

Brand Example product code
Nike / Jordan DC0774-162
Adidas GY0042
New Balance U530ESA
Skechers 104379-BBK
ASICS 1203A275-100
Puma 384852-01

These examples illustrate product-code formats; they are not authentication certificates.

Search using both the brand and complete reference, such as:

Nike DC0774-162

Step 3 — Compare the product information

Look for matching listings from the manufacturer's website, established retailers, or reliable product catalogues.

Compare:

  • Brand and model name

  • Product or style code

  • Colourway

  • Silhouette and design

  • Materials and visible construction details

  • Product photographs

Step 4 — Investigate inconsistencies

If a product code identifies a completely different model or colourway, investigate further.

However, older releases, discontinued styles, and regional products may no longer appear on official websites.

Official manufacturer references

For models no longer listed officially, established retailer archives may provide additional references.

You can also contact a brand's official customer-support team for guidance about a particular product reference.

Remember: A correct SKU supports product consistency, but counterfeit products can reproduce genuine codes. Matching a code online does not independently authenticate a physical pair.

03. Examine the Shoebox, Labels & Packaging

The details should tell a consistent story.

Our footwear is supplied with its original branded box, product identification labels, and applicable manufacturer packaging.

Depending on the brand and model, labels may contain:

  • Model or article number

  • Product code

  • Colourway

  • EU, UK, US, or centimetre size information

  • Barcode

  • Manufacturing country

  • Production information

What should you check?

Product identification

Compare the reference printed on the shoebox with the information on the shoe's internal identification label.

Model and colourway

Check that the labelled product corresponds with the actual design and colours.

Size information

Review the manufacturer's sizing information on the shoe and box.

Remember that size conversions vary by brand.

Packaging presentation

Inspect the box, printed labels, and accompanying manufacturer packaging for consistency with the model.

Packaging specifications may differ between manufacturers, collections, and regional markets.

A mismatch may justify further investigation, but it is not automatically proof of counterfeiting.

Original packaging provides useful identification information, but packaging alone cannot establish authenticity.

04. Inspect the Materials & Construction

Look beyond the logo.

A useful verification step is to compare your pair with reliable photographs and product information for the exact same model and colourway.

Examine the following characteristics:

Upper materials

Compare the leather, suede, mesh, textile, or synthetic materials used in the shoe.

Stitching and assembly

Review stitching patterns, seams, panel placement, and construction consistency.

Brand logos and typography

Compare logo proportions, placement, embroidery, printed text, and branding details.

Midsole and outsole

Examine the sole shape, tread design, cushioning construction, and visible structural elements.

Colour and finish

Compare the product's colours and finishing details with reliable reference images.

Overall construction

Look for unusual inconsistencies in the silhouette, proportions, or assembly.

Authentic footwear can have minor cosmetic imperfections or manufacturing variations. Differences in lighting, materials, and production batches may also affect appearance.

No single stitching detail, logo characteristic, or material feature is a definitive authentication test.

05. Understand QR Codes & Barcodes

Scannable does not always mean verifiable.

Many footwear manufacturers use QR codes, barcodes, or other machine-readable identifiers.

These may serve purposes such as:

  • Product identification

  • Inventory management

  • Manufacturing and logistics tracking

  • Brand-specific digital services

However, a QR code is not necessarily an authentication system.

A successful scan may simply retrieve product information or open a website.

Likewise, a code that does not lead to a public page does not automatically indicate that the product is counterfeit.

Counterfeit products can also reproduce genuine QR codes and barcodes.

Only rely on digital authentication when the manufacturer provides an official verification service specifically designed for that product or identifier.

06. Our European Sourcing Standards

Selected in Europe. Available in Lebanon.

AuthenTic Lebanon sources its footwear exclusively through commercial suppliers based in European countries.

Our sourcing policy is based on identifiable business suppliers, documented purchases, and traceable commercial transactions.

We maintain purchasing records that help connect our inventory to its commercial supply history.

Our sourcing process includes:

  • Purchasing from European commercial suppliers

  • Reviewing supplier and product information

  • Maintaining relevant commercial invoices

  • Retaining payment documentation

  • Organising shipping and logistics records

  • Recording received merchandise in our inventory system

This approach supports traceability, business accountability, and greater transparency.

European sourcing refers to where we purchase our products—not necessarily where the footwear was manufactured.

While sourcing records provide important evidence about a product's commercial origin, purchasing from Europe alone is not proof of authenticity.

07. A Registered Business. Documented Transactions.

Real business. Documented purchases.

AuthenTic Lebanon operates under EvLi International S.A.R.L. – SP, a commercially registered company in Lebanon.

Our footwear purchases are conducted as part of our company's business operations and supported by relevant commercial and financial documentation.

Can customers request supporting information?

Yes.

If you have a specific concern about the origin or authenticity of a product, contact us with the relevant model or product reference.

We can review the available purchasing records and, where appropriate, provide suitable supporting information or redacted documentation.

To protect confidential commercial relationships and financial information, supplier identities, purchase prices, banking details, and other sensitive business records may remain private.

Our commitment to authenticity is supported by documented business operations—not simply marketing statements.

08. Examine Your Pair Before Accepting Delivery

See it. Try it. Decide.

We want you to feel confident about your purchase before accepting it.

When your order arrives, you may open the package and try on the shoes while the delivery driver is present.

You can examine the product, check the size and fit, and review the packaging before deciding what to keep.

Ordering multiple sizes or styles?

You may order more than one option and decide at delivery.

  • Keep one or more pairs: Pay only for the pairs you keep and return the rest with the driver.

  • Return the entire order: Pay only the $5 delivery fee, whether you ordered one pair or several.

Returned merchandise must remain in its original condition, with the original box, packaging, and included accessories.

Once a purchase has been accepted and paid for at delivery, returns or refunds for changes of mind, size, fit, or preference are not accepted under our published policy.

Incorrect or defective merchandise is handled separately. Please contact us so we can review the issue and arrange an appropriate solution.

For complete conditions, please consult our Returns & Refunds Policy.
